I am blessed to do what I love and love what I do. Honey & Child Photography enters it’s fifth year in business and I couldn’t be more proud and thankful to my clients!

It was such an honor to photograph this new family of three. Anderson was such a chill and happy babe. He smiled in nearly every setup! The American flag you see down there was flown over the Capital Building for Anderson’s Dad. I had just laid him down on it when he started grinning ear to ear. Such a special image in so many ways. Enjoy a few of my favorites from Anderson’s gallery!

I had the best time photographing this beautiful family. Gorgeous Momma is a dear friend and I could not be more grateful to photograph their first moments as a family of 4! Enjoy!

And finally….That moment when your big sister duties are done and you flash dance around in your new Anna dress.

This year has been incredible! In a little over two years, Honey & Child Photography has grown into something I once dreamed of. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world having two dream jobs. Because of my amazing clients, I’m able to stay at home with my three girls and be the mother I’ve always wanted to be and take on a couple clients a week. I am so humbled and honored that so many families have chosen me to document such special times in their lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have the best clients trusting me with their new precious little ones. I’m always in awe when new innocent life comes into the studio. I’m sure many people turn away from doing business with me once they review my pricing. I’m not the cheapest or most expensive in my area. I could go on and on about how much it is to run a photography business, how many thousands of dollars worth of equipment, and how much time goes into each session…but that’s another post. You don’t have to be rich to afford custom photography, it just has to be something you see as a priority. I feel so privileged to have clients that see custom photography as an investment that will last a lifetime. They’re only this little for a little while.

Personally, my family has had a busy & fun year! Just 5 months ago, we welcomed our third wonderful daughter and moved into our new home! I now have a great home studio that has been getting a lot of love. To my husband, who is the most supportive partner I could ever dream of, thank you for believing in me and always helping every step along the way. I love you. Mom & Dad, thank you for your never ending support and for always opening your home & arms for play dates while Mommy has a session in the morning. You’re the best!

Thank you all again for such a great year!! Here are just a few of my favorites from 2012!

All of my girls 🙂 My three daughters, my niece, and God daughter

Kara was 18 days new. She was the prettiest chunky little thing and all girl. She made us really work for it at first and didn’t quite want to go to sleep. But once she got her belly nice and full she was ready to model and slept through the whole session.  She’s a beauty Kerry, I so enjoyed her session 🙂

One of my new favorite images.

I’ll leave you with the sweetest smile. Precious.
